Mike, Interesting Find, What are they about and who/how are they funded. If you can establish yourself as an “expert” on relocation or apartment search, why wouldn’t a property management firm do something like this, may be an interesting Underground Marketing tactic, or is it underhand? Thoughts, ideas anyone?
Eric’s comment regarding a property management firm producing something like this made me think about a few things. Since there is a property listed as the source of a $200 referral payment for furniture and $350 toward move-in fees, I thought that the community mentioned might be behind the website. Today I personally contacted the property manager and she was not aware of the site and does not know how their information got on there. Also, they are not running any promotions like that (and they haven’t in the past).
All I can say right now is “hmm…”
