PropTech and RentTech deals don’t die because your product is terrible.
I think they die because you’re talking to the wrong person.
My guess is you already knew that.
And you have a sense that chasing the buyer is fruitless because the buyer isn’t the influencer.
You win over the influencer, but the influencer isn’t the check-signer.
You meet the check-signer, but the check-signer takes cues from the advocate.
This is why you need an insider.
A trusted advisor inside the organization who can send you the org chart—with circles around the key players.
The influencer. The advocate. The change-maker. The decision-maker. The person who signs the check.
Without this, you’re guessing.
With it, you’re closing.
