Break the Chains of “Same Old'” Thinking: Ask “What If?” and “How?”

The fastest way to kill a business is to stick with the “same old. ”

You and I both know this leads to irrelevance, and irrelevance moves faster than ever.

I heard a pithy quote that fits, “If you don’t like change, you will like irrelevance even less.”

Ask yourself: How do you innovate to stay ahead?

Two questions will unlock that answer.

First, ask, “What if?”

This is your permission slip to dream.

Instead of “can’t,” start with “what if.”

  • What if another industry had already solved this problem?
  • What if you flipped this problem on its head?
  • What if there were no limits—how would success look?

Possibility overpowers stagnation.

“What if” sparks ideas you didn’t know you had.

Then, ask, “How?”

Now that you’ve dreamed, it’s time to act.

“How” transforms ideas into action.

  • How do you take step one?
  • How can you remove constraints?
  • How would you solve this if failure wasn’t an option?

When you think “how,” impossible shifts to inevitable.

Take action today: Ask “What if?” to spark innovation.

Ask “How?” to make it real.

“Relevance is a choice. You either innovate or evaporate.” – Mike Brewer
