I read about this a couple of weeks ago and just found the time to check it out. It might be a colossal waste of time or a uber-cool thing to share on one of your social networks.
If you recall the Google commercial that ran during the Super Bowl you will have a really good sense for what this is. Google has created a way for you to mimic their Search On commercial. It’s really ingenious if you ask me. And, simple to do.
Here is a link to the site where you can build your own. And, here is the one I built for Mills Properties:

I like it, Mike … especially with the dramatic music!
I love how Google has found a way to tell a story through just a few simple search queries. I think marketers could easily optimize their site, or at least a few pages, to match some fun queries to tell your brand's own story — picture your site coming up number #1 when the last query is “your new apartment in St. Louis.”
(By the way, here's a quick one I created earlier today – http://j.mp/cmfmkb. Enjoy!)
Search On – Game On – Bring it On – Right On
It's right along the lines of S Godin's eight words or less mantra! And, giving the user a reason to get creative is very cool. And, talk about a giga-spark for amping up UGC – I could waste hours loading up new versions of short clips.
I like your clip as well – especially the scroll of 30lines showing up sixty-nine times in the span of a second… 🙂
Such a cool time to be alive and participating in this space.
