Check this blurb out from the St. Louis Business Journal;
Nintendo of America Inc. has struck a deal to supply its Wii games to
the Westin Hotels chain, the game company said Thursday. The Westin St.
Louis hotel in downtown St. Louis, Mo., is one of the hotels slated to
get the systems this month.
I think this could be highly attractive and successful in a clubroom, coffee bar, fitness center and/or whatever you call it in your community. I know we don’t sport the volume of transients and in the same sense we might be a better target advertising forum for the likes of Nintendo.
I talked about sponsorships sometime back on our blog but at the time I was thinking more in the vein of local businesses.
What are your thoughts? Would you rather have Nintendo sponsor the fitness center or local businesses through their various ads and promotions displayed on your the walls?

Mike, Your Post this evening is fascinating, If in fact the Nintendo Wii is that popular, and it must be otherwise Westin wouldn’t be negotiating deals with Nintendo, point is we could All be having Wii Torments, which our Leasing Gals have been pulling at our us here locally to do. I think I finally here it!
That is a pretty bold step with Westin, and your idea of sponsorships, here within our own group at Urbane has drawn some push back, as it almost seems as though we are selling out, however, I do believe that the most progressive Multi Family Companies WILL capitalize on your ideas, specifically those with demographics that align with whatever the specific corporate sponsor is , and if the Multi Family firm happens to have a strong presence, and moreover a presence in Social Media with their given demographic, that will have a much higher value and significance for a partnership. Point here is sponsorships will not be equally divided.
