I think this might be taking it to the extreme and in the same breath I would say this couple will never forget the community:
Emily and I are going to move to Chapel Hill in July. We found a decent
apartment complex in Carrboro located in a wooded area. After a couple
tours and questions answered, Emily and I started filling out
applications. The manager of the complex came out of her office and
asked me if I was afraid of snakes. I told her I was not, and she
explained that a resident called because she had a snake on her porch.
She asked if I minded helping with that. [click here for the rest of the story]

I’m not sure if this is the type of “community involvement” you should force an applicant into… 🙂 That was a GREAT picture of the snake, though!
