Do you think For Rent is keying into the idea that print media is going by the wayside. Lisa T. I know you will debate the idea until the Purple Cows come home but I am certain the day is coming.

Hi Mike,
Print is definitely alive and well! ForRent.com-The Magazine is actually a great example of how powerful the print and Internet connection can be.
Since the magazine’s introduction in eight other markets, property managers in these areas have seen phone leads increase by an average of 315%.
There are also a great amount of statistics that support the print and internet duo. According to an August 2007 study by iProspect, 39 % of Internet users who shop online make a purchase after being driven to search online via an offline channel; print ads and word-of-mouth being the most frequent drivers.
Property managers who use a combination of print and Internet advertising have an advantage over those who use only one or the other as a marketing tool.
Meredith, well said! And I will argue about this till the Purple Cows come home! The combination is powerful – more powerful than simply Internet alone in most industries.

Does that mean the other 61% are driven purely by an on-line channel? What did that same study say in 2006, 2005 or 2004? -M
