Right Thing, Right Now – Ryan Holiday – I’ve been a fan of Ryan Holiday dating back to his first book, Trust Me, I’m Lying: Confessions of a Media Manipulator. Right Thing, Right Now takes on a new tone that I’m not fully aligned with. His observations and convictions regarding some modern-day cultural events are counter to mine. But that is okay. We don’t have to agree on everything, and I appreciate how he thinks; it makes me stop to consider. The book is worth reading, just like every other Ryan Holiday book! While not my favorite, I remain a big fan.

The Art of Plain Talk – Rudolph Flesch – A book about writing clearly and concisely.
